A fun pairs tournament played as a two-person scramble, with a highly attractive prize fund. The tournament forms part of a larger competition culminating in a final. The teams finishing first and second will qualify for the final in Halmstad, which will be played at Halmstad Golfarena & Halmstad Golf Club on 11–12 September 2026.

The prize includes two days of golf, one dinner, entertainment and overnight accommodation in Halmstad. Each qualifying tournament also offers several excellent prizes, including attractive golf breaks and experiences in Halmstad, as well as products from PING and the other partners.

Tournament conditions 

• Two-person scramble – handicap stroke play
• 1 division
• Entry fee: DKK 175
• A minimum of 20 and a maximum of 54 teams may participate.
• The tournament is open to players born in 2007 or earlier. Please see the information about junior players below
• Maximum handicap of 36 per player and 72 per team
• The following rules apply:
  • Teams must select 7 tee shots from each player. The remaining 4 holes may be selected freely
  • Players may hole out a tap-in on the green to maintain the pace of play, even if the other player may be able to achieve a better score. The lower score will, of course, count
• Players born in 1948 or earlier may play from a tee of their choice
• 2 teams from each club will qualify for the final in Halmstad on 11–12 September 2026
• Shotgun start at 09:00, with a joint briefing 35 minutes beforehand. The briefing will last approximately 10 minutes.

Handicap allowance and playing handicap

• The player with the lower handicap multiplies their handicap by 0.5
• The player with the higher handicap multiplies their handicap by 0.2
• The results from points 1 and 2, including decimals, are added together
• The total is rounded to the nearest whole number and becomes the team’s playing handicap.

The tournament is open to golfers born in 2007 or earlier. Junior players aged 12–17 require the signature of a parent or guardian to participate. In this case, registration must be made by telephone with the tournament organisers on +4540113735.

Prize presentation:
PLEASE NOTE: Prize winners must attend the prize presentation to receive their prize. If a prize winner is not present at the prize presentation, the prize will be passed on to the player or team in the next position.
