About FeelBornholm
The people behind it
The reason we have spent so many hours creating FeelBornholm is actually simple: we simply couldn’t help ourselves. Bornholm is more than a place to us – it’s a feeling that won’t let go, and one we want to share with others.
We both have many years of experience from the tourism industry in different contexts. Over the years, we have often talked about how we ourselves would have liked a modern tourist guide to Bornholm to be approached. In the end, we couldn’t ignore it – and today we are creating the guide we have missed ourselves.
FeelBornholm is a collaboration between us as private individuals with a deep love for Bornholm and Kristian’s company, Bykragh, which develops professional web applications – primarily within education and tourism. The combination of content, storytelling and a solid technical platform is central to our approach.
Work on FeelBornholm began in June 2024. Since then, we have built both content and technology which together form the foundation for a larger vision. A lot is already in place, but there are still areas that need further development – both in terms of functionality and content.
We have now reached a point where we are opening the platform and inviting you to join us. FeelBornholm is today an advanced online tourist guide, created with care, curiosity and professionalism. Use it to explore the island – the same island that, time and again, has captured our hearts.

More experiences on the way
We are in the first stage of our implementation plan (early 2026), where the focus is on the many experiences Bornholm has to offer. The list of places to visit is long – and it keeps growing. There is still a lot we are looking forward to diving into.
As spring approaches, we will lace up our walking boots again and travel around the island to experience, photograph and share even more places, making it easy for visitors to find experiences that suit them perfectly.
Commercial experiences on the way
The platform is already ready to accommodate Bornholm’s many commercial experiences and services – and the next natural step is to open the door to them.
Our strategy is simple: relevant commercial businesses that naturally form part of visitors’ experience of Bornholm can become part of FeelBornholm with a free basic profile that provides visibility and essential information.
In time, there will be an option to expand the content with more details, images and storytelling as part of an extended solution. The framework is in place – now it’s about doing it right.
Technical platform
FeelBornholm is built on version 1 of our technical platform – a well-considered foundation developed with a focus on quality, structure and future scalability.
We are working from a clear vision for the platform’s continued development, where new features, services and information will gradually be added. Everything is based on the same principle: making it easy for anyone with an interest in Bornholm to find the very experiences that interest them most.
The platform will support both planning before arrival and the ongoing experience on the island – so that every stay on Bornholm becomes as simple, inspiring and well used as possible.
