Lichens in Rutsker Højlyng

The fascinating world of lichens unfolds when you simply take the time to look closely – and perhaps bring a magnifying glass to study the fine details of their structure and colours. We will take a walk in Rutsker Højlyng, an area with rocks, trees and heathland, all of which are good habitats for lichens. During the walk, the guide will give a basic introduction to how lichens live.

René L. Vilsholm, who will guide this walk, was editor of the book “Bornholms lav” and has worked extensively with these organisms.
