Get ready for a celebration of music, togetherness and Danish party spirit when KANDIS takes the stage at Smedjen on Thursday, 5 August 2027 at 5:30 pm.

KANDIS has long been an institution on the Danish music scene, and this summer promises an afternoon and evening filled with songs that generations of Danes have danced, sung and celebrated to.

With Johnny Hansen leading the way, KANDIS delivers everything the band is famous for: infectious energy, memorable melodies, singalongs and an atmosphere that quickly makes the audience part of the party.

Over the decades, KANDIS has built an impressive catalogue of popular songs and become an integral part of Danish musical culture. Yet the band continues to evolve. Their latest album, "KANDIS 23", was released in November 2025, combining the classic KANDIS sound with fresh musical influences. The album features 14 new songs, including the single "På Skanderborg", which became a major radio hit.

But KANDIS is about more than just music. It's about the joy of life, togetherness and shared memories. The band's own motto is "Rejsende i Livsglæde" – roughly meaning "Travelling with the Joy of Life" – and that's exactly the feeling audiences can expect when KANDIS comes to Smedjen.

Over the years, KANDIS has performed at festivals, concert venues and traditional Danish dance parties across the country – returning to many venues for more than 30 years and frequently playing to packed audiences.

Now it's Smedjen's turn, offering the chance to experience one of Denmark's most popular dance and party bands up close.

Ticket prices: DKK 245/295/345 excluding booking and transaction fees. The cheapest tickets will be sold first, followed by the higher-priced tickets.
