Tobias Trier

Tobias Trier has a firm command of words and melodies as he turns everyday life inside out and grapples with the struggles, flaws and longings of the modern man. This comes to life in a series of catchy melodies and witty lyrics when he performs on Monday, 6 July 2026 at Smedjen.

Tobias Trier has released seven solo albums and composed music for several films and theatre productions. In 2021, he received a Danish Music Award with the band De Onde for Best Children’s Jazz Ensemble of the Year. In 2023, Tobias also appeared as an actor at the Aveny-T theatre in the production På Pletten, for which he composed the music and songs and co-wrote the script with actress Winnie Kristine. The production is now touring across the country, and the music will soon be available on Spotify.

At Smedjen on Monday, 6 July 2026, he will perform a wide selection of songs from his career – and the audience may get to sing along to “Drak af din kop”, “Hvorfor kommer hun ikke?” and “Jeg kendte en pige”, where they will also challenge Tobias’ improvisational skills.
