As soon as you step into the workshop, you immediately sense the atmosphere. The furnaces radiate heat and glow brightly while the flames work in the background. There is a constant hum from the equipment and an intense concentration around the worktables. At the same time, a particular calm rests over the room as the glassblowers work with focused precision on the glowing glass. Visitors can sit and follow the entire process – from the moment the molten glass is gathered from the furnace until the shape slowly emerges in the hands of the glassblower.

Baltic Sea Glass is the largest in Denmark when it comes to hand-blown unique glass objects with certificates of authenticity. The gallery presents works created by some of Europe’s most skilled glassblowers, where each piece develops its own expression through colour, movement and form.

The gallery is spacious and bright, with large windows overlooking the Baltic Sea, where daylight plays across the glass surfaces. The light refracts through bowls, vases and art objects, constantly creating new reflections and colours throughout the room.
