Blykobbe Plantation, perhaps better known as Nordskoven, is Rønne’s town forest. The area is a popular recreational space, widely used by the residents of Rønne.
The entire coastline consists of a long, pleasant beach with white sand and good bathing conditions. Closest to Rønne lies Antoinette Beach, which is well visited throughout the summer.
The area features marked walking routes and several interesting sights, including Prinsekilden, Tillehøjene, a burial mound, remains of trenches constructed by the Germans during the Second World War, as well as seven fortifications that previously formed part of Bornholm’s coastal defences.
Blykobbe Plantation is an ideal area to explore, and during the summer months it has a lively yet relaxed atmosphere.
