FORMA Kunsthåndværk is a shared shop and gallery in Nexø, where several Bornholm-based craftspeople come together to present and sell their work. Here you will find a carefully selected range of handmade ceramics, glass and other contemporary crafts created by professional artists with connections to Bornholm.
The shop is run as a collective, with the individual craftspeople taking turns being present. This gives visitors the opportunity to meet the artists behind the works and gain insight into the materials, techniques and ideas that shape their work. The associated craftspeople include ceramicists and glass artists who are also members of Arts & Crafts Association Bornholm (ACAB), the association for professional crafts on Bornholm.
The selection ranges from functional ceramics and porcelain to glass, unique pieces and smaller design objects. The works are united by a high level of craftsmanship and a clear interest in exploring the possibilities of different materials. Several of the craftspeople work with local raw materials, recycled materials and experimental glazes, giving their work a distinctive character.
