Matter – House of Craft is a centre for arts and crafts at Nexø Harbour, where a shop, gallery and working studios bring contemporary Bornholm craftsmanship together under one roof. Here, you can discover glass by Zelmer Olsen and ceramics by Oh Oak while gaining a closer look at the materials, skills and processes behind the finished pieces.
The open studios give the place a lively character and make a visit more than a traditional trip to a shop or gallery. Depending on when you visit, there may also be changing exhibitions, pop-ups, workshops and talks about arts and crafts.
Matter is located directly by the harbour in Nexø and can easily be combined with a walk along the quay or a visit to the town’s shops, cafés and other creative spaces.
