Bornholms Golfklub – Robbedalebanen is set in scenic surroundings just outside Rønne. The 18-hole parkland course follows the natural landscape through woodland, open areas and small lakes, where the terrain forms an integral part of the game. Designed by renowned Danish golf course architect Frederik Dreyer, it is the oldest golf course on Bornholm.
Although relatively short, the course demands accuracy rather than power. Narrow fairways, strategically placed bunkers, lakes and wooded sections provide challenges for both experienced golfers and newcomers throughout the round. The wind changes character between the open holes and the more sheltered sections, creating a varied golfing experience.
Robbedalebanen is located within a partly protected nature area that also serves as Rønne’s water catchment. For this reason, the course is maintained without the use of pesticides, allowing wild orchids, broom, fruit trees and abundant bird and wildlife to flourish.
The clubhouse offers a driving range, putting green, short-game practice area and practice bunker, as well as a café, terrace, changing facilities and the option to hire golf equipment and buggies.
Pay & Play
Bornholms Golfklub also features the 9-hole Rema 1000 Course, where everyone is welcome to play – even without club membership or a golf handicap. It is ideal for beginners, families and visitors looking for a relaxed introduction to golf in peaceful surroundings.
