Helligpeder

Helligpeder is a small fishing hamlet on the north coast, surrounded by beautiful nature and a breathtaking coastline. The harbour was established in 1870 and was originally built for commercial fishing. It is run by an association made up entirely of volunteers, helping to preserve a piece of Bornholm’s cultural heritage.

Several former smokehouses are located by the harbour, including one believed to be among the oldest on Bornholm. Today the buildings form part of the harbour environment, and there are tables and benches overlooking the water.

In Helligpeder, you can enjoy the natural surroundings and the sea – and not least a beautiful sunset.
