Teglkås

Teglkås is a small fishing settlement on the north-west coast of Bornholm with a small harbour. Like the other small fishing villages along the coast, the area is surrounded by a beautiful coastline and striking natural scenery.

The harbour area still bears clear traces of its past as a centre for commercial fishing, when around 20 local fishermen were based here in the early 20th century. The old smokehouses can also be seen, which were in use until the 1960s.

Teglkås is located just one kilometre from Helligpeder Harbour and is reached via Teglkåsvej, which winds all the way down to the coast.
