Klemensker

Klemensker is a small town located centrally inland in northern Bornholm.

Today, Klemensker is best known for St. Clemens Dairy – Bornholm’s cooperative dairy and the island’s only dairy. The dairy has won numerous international awards for its high-quality cheeses, which can be found in supermarkets across the island.

The town also has a larger grocery store as well as Klemens Kro, which has been run by new owners since 2021. With great care, they have renovated the inn and brought new life to the old roadside inn, which had stood empty and in a state of disrepair for many years. Today, the inn is a popular meeting place for both locals and visitors.

Klemensker also has a public open-air swimming pool, which is open during the summer season and popular with families with children. The pool is run by volunteers and offers a range of fun activities.
