Pedersker

Pedersker is a small village between Rønne and Snogebæk and was formerly a railway town on the Rønne–Nexø line, which closed in 1968.

Just outside the village lies Rispebjerg – one of Bornholm’s most fascinating cultural heritage sites. Here, you can experience an open and gently rolling landscape with clear traces of several thousand years of human activity, from Stone Age ritual structures to later farming and settlements. Today, the area is accessible via marked paths and offers a unique insight into the island’s early history.

In Pedersker itself, you will also find a local grocery store that stands out for its unusually wide selection of locally produced foods. With a strong focus on quality and local ingredients, it is an ideal stop for anyone wanting to taste Bornholm or take home local specialities.

Although Pedersker is a quiet village, it is a fine example of a well-run rural shop, where a dedicated local shopkeeper has brought together a strong range of Bornholm products and created a natural meeting point for both locals and visitors.
