Allinge-Sandvig

Allinge-Sandvig is Bornholm’s northernmost town and consists of Sandvig, which lies furthest to the north, and Allinge. Over time, the two communities have grown together and are today regarded as one town.

The town is beautifully situated at the foot of Hammerknuden and has an active cultural scene with concerts and festivals. During the summer, the town is full of life, with many visitors enjoying the numerous places to eat as well as the nearby attractions on Hammeren and at Hammershus.

The area around Allinge Harbour, which in 2021 was named Denmark’s most beautiful harbour area, is one of Bornholm’s popular summer oases, where shops, cafés and restaurants create the setting for a lively town atmosphere enjoyed by both locals and visitors.
