During Svaneke Market Days, the town square comes alive with local stalls and a warm market atmosphere. Here you can explore Bornholm products, crafts, plants, jewellery, ceramics, knitwear, honey and much more.
The market days are also a great opportunity to take a relaxed walk through Svaneke, enjoy the town’s beautiful streets, visit shops and galleries, and experience the special summer atmosphere that makes the town one of Bornholm’s most charming places. There is often music and small festive features on the square, helping to create a lively and relaxed atmosphere in the heart of the town.
Get ready for laughs, suspense and chicken bingo in Brænderigænget, when Svaneke’s hens enter the arena and the lucky poop numbers of the day are about to be found.
This is not about fast legs or impressive performance – it is about patience, good timing and a hen with just the right gut feeling. The audience follows closely while everyone waits for the decisive dropping, with plenty of laughter, comments from the sidelines and genuine Svaneke atmosphere along the way.
Chicken Poop Bingo has been a regular part of summer in Svaneke for many years, bringing together locals, holidaymakers and curious passers-by for one of the island’s quirkiest experiences. The action takes place in Brænderigænget every Wednesday at 18:00 and every Saturday at 13:00 from June through August. Tickets are normally sold from one hour before the start.
The proceeds help support music and local activities in Svaneke – so you can join the game, enjoy the fun and support the town’s summer life at the same time.
After several sold-out and unforgettable concerts in 2023, 2024 and 2025, the KIM LARSEN & GASOLIN TRIBUTE BAND returns to SMEDJEN!
Look forward to an evening filled with sing-alongs, celebration and nostalgia as the band performs Kim Larsen’s legendary songs – popular, festive and with their own musical expression. They do not imitate, but pay tribute to the music with respect and soul.
At the front is Simon Sandbye, one of the finest interpreters of Kim Larsen, who brings the songs to life with his engaging vocal and charisma. Together with a strong team of talented musicians, they create a unique concert experience at SMEDJEN.

The flea market in Snogebæk is a popular summer activity for both locals and tourists. Here you can hunt for second-hand finds, used items and small surprises among the many tables with sellers. The market takes place in the charming setting by Snogebæk harbour, where the relaxed atmosphere is an important part of the experience.
Snogebæk Borgerforening states that the flea market in 2026 will be held on Saturdays from 6 June to 29 August.

In summer 2026, we present a new theme every week – from the iconic hits of the 80s and the biggest Danish songs to the unforgettable 90s. Whatever the theme, we guarantee great vibes, plenty of dancing, and a fantastic evening with good friends and great music.
And of course, there are prizes waiting for all lucky winners! Bring your best dancing shoes and make Musik-Bingo the highlight of your week!

Get up close to live animals and enjoy a special experience at NaturBornholm.
Every Monday at 11.00 during the summer holiday, you can meet one of our live animals and hear exciting stories from the nature guide.
Which animal it will be varies, but you will get the chance to come right up close and hold it in your hand, if you dare.
At 13.00, you can also watch the fish being fed and get even closer to the fascinating world of animals.

Marimille has long been trying to become a pop star.
So when, at 17, she entered X Factor with the group “Place on Earth” and WON, she thought, “this is it”.
But 6 years, a self-produced musical and a conservatory education later, the biggest recognition she received was ending up on the front page of Ekstra Bladet for having “engaged in extreme sex” (which she had mentioned in a song).
Well, the industry is tough, as they say. While it was admittedly quite pop star-like to end up in the tabloids for something as trivial as your sex life, it wasn’t really about the music. And Marimille would much rather it was about the music… which this press text probably doesn’t help with, by repeating the very same story she’s so tired of.
